7th Pay Commission Pay Hike for Rajasthan Govt Employees

Pay hike as per 7th CPC for the employees of Rajasthan State Government.

Rajasthan Government decided to implement the recommendations of 7th Central Pay Commission to its employees with effect from October 2017.

Rajasthan Government Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje announced Tuesday to implement the recommendations of 7th Pay Commission to more than 12 lakh State Government employees and pensioners with effect from October 2017.

EPFO introduces a new facility for its members to link their respective UAN with Aadhaar online

On the eve of Deepawali, Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is pleased to introduce a new facility for its esteemed members having Universal Account Number (UAN) and other relevant details to link their respective UAN with Aadhaar online. This, in turn, would facilitate the members, a better and speedy EPFO services.

The facility has been made available at EPFO’s website www.epfindia.gov.in >> Online Services >> e-KYC Portal>> LINK UAN AADHAAR.

Using the facility, EPFO members can online link their respective UAN with Aadhaar. While using the facility, the member will have to provide his/her UAN. An OTP will be sent to his/her mobile linked with UAN. After OTP verification, the member will have to provide his/her Aadhaar Number. Another OTP will be sent to his/her mobile/email linked with Aadhaar. After OTP verification, if UAN details are matched with Aadhaar details, then UAN will be linked with Aadhaar. After linking, the EPFO member may avail online EPFO services linked with Aadhaar.

The present prevailing different grades shall be retained and some cities/towns shall be upgraded and reclassified for the eligibility of House Rent Allowance in different grades as detailed below:

REVISED RATES OF HOUSE RENT ALLOWANCE IN LIEU OF FREE QUARTERS

Higher rates of House Rent Allowance are admissible to employees entitled for rent free quarters but not provided with quarters. The revised rate of House Rent Allowance in lieu of rent free quarters shall be as follows:-

REVISED RATE OF CITY COMPENSATORY ALLOWANCE

The cities of Tiruppur and Erode, which was classified as ‘Y’ by Government of India for the purpose of House Rent Allowance shall also be included for City Compensatory Allowance. Accordingly, revised rates of City Compensatory Allowance (CCA) for employees in different pay ranges in the revised pay structures shall be as follows:

CLASSIFICATION OF EMPLOYEES FOR PURPOSE OF TRAVEL ENTITLEMENTS

The classification of employees for the purpose of Travelling Allowance shall be based on Pay Level of the employees in the Pay Matrix in the revised pay structure. The Grades of employees fixed based on the Pay Level drawn by the employees in the revised pay structure for the purpose of Travelling Allowance for the employees as detailed below:

ENTITLEMENTS FOR JOURNEYS ON TOUR or TRAINING

The travel entitlements of Government employees while on tour and transfer shall be regulated as follows :



If the Travelling Allowance in terms of the revised entitlements now prescribed result in reduction of the existing entitlements in the case of any individual, groups or classes of employees, the entitlements, particularly in respect of mode of travel, class of accommodation, etc. the same shall not be lowered. Instead, they will continue to be governed by the earlier orders until they become eligible, in the normal course, for the higher entitlements in the revised pay.

DAILY ALLOWANCE

The revised rates of daily allowance for the employees in the following four grades shall be as follows:-




DAILY ALLOWANCE RATE FOR HALTS OUTSIDE THE STATE – STAY IN STATE HEADQUARTERS AND OTHER PLACES WITHIN AND OUTSIDE THE STATE

The revised rates of daily allowance for halt in New Delhi and other State Headquarters other than Chennai, for stay in Chennai and for stay in other places within and outside the State including Union Territories shall be as follows :


*Reimbursement of upto Three Star Hotel subject to maximum of Rs.4500.
^ Reimbursement of upto Two Star Hotel subject to maximum of Rs.3000.
# Reimbursement of upto Two Star Hotel subject to maximum of Rs.1800.

TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE ON TRANSFER

Travel Entitlements on Transfer: The travel entitlements prescribed for tour shall be applicable in case of journeys on transfer. The general conditions of admissibility prescribed shall be, however, continued without any change.

Lumpsum Allowance: The lumpsum allowance payable under Transfer Travelling Allowance for packing/loading and unloading/unpacking shall be as shown below:-
